Medicine and vaccine requirements over Christmas and New Year period

10th December 2018

As Christmas fast approaches, it is important to be thinking about your medicine and vaccine requirements throughout the festive season and well into January 2019, as many of our suppliers close for the whole period!

As a result it will be necessary for you to order all your routine medicine and vaccine requirements from now until at least the 8th January without delay, and in any case by Wednesday 12th December to ensure all routine orders are properly processed and dispatched before Christmas, for you to use into the first week in January.

As is usual, we will retain stocks of necessary therapeutic medications here for emergency use, but for all your routine vaccine requirements we will need your order by 12th December.

Your help in this will ensure continuity of supply during this hectic period. Clearly, if you do order products and they fail to appear on the date you expected, and in any case by Monday 17th December please let us know without delay so we can chase up any deliveries or couriers sooner rather than later.

The practice will operate throughout the holiday period, but for any submissions or post mortems between 24th December and 2nd January 2018 please ring us first.

If the laboratory is unattended at any time then the answerphone will indicate the duty veterinarian.

Please contact us if you require any further information or assistance.
